Heather earned her Master of Science degree in Acupuncture at the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine - an accelerated 28 month long with 2,265 hour program, in 2015
She is certified as a Licensed Acupuncturist by the Colorado State.
Boards which includes certification in Clean Needle Technique, and received certification through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
Heather’s Chinese medicine training includes acupuncture, gua sha, blood letting, cupping, electro-acupuncture, auriculotherapy, tuina, and dietary and lifestyle recommendations. She is also a reiki master, has an associate's of science degree and certificate in Holistic Health, certificate of phlebotomy, along with an associate's of arts degree from Front Range Community College in Fort Collins, CO and has trained in various forms of hands-on energy healing since 2010. Heather is a member of the Acupuncture Association of Colorado.
To further assist the healing process, Heather continues to study with a Denver acupuncturist for another modality, an energetic reading. Her mentor has been training with of the most prominent acupuncturist in Colorado, who has created his own system of diagnosing and treating people with over 35 years experience. Heather also continues her education with certified continuing education courses.
Heather grew up in the Glenwood Springs area and is so happy to be back with her closest friends and family while raising her daughter. She enjoys the beautiful nature, activities, and scenery of the western slope, while practicing her passion; facilitating health for so many people.
*None of her licenses or certifications have ever been suspended or revoked.
*The clinic complies with the rules and regulations promulgated by the Colorado Department of Health, including proper sanitation of the acupuncture clinic, and use of the Clean Needle Technique. Only single-use, disposable, factory sterilized needles are utilized.

We also believe that health is a right and not a privilege.
That is why we offer sliding scale at $50-$100 for each visit.

We also offer a 30 minute appointment, that is an energetic reading and consultation only.
Each visit is a private hour long relaxing acupuncture treatment at our Glenwood location, along with an energetic reading.
We recommend additional nutritional changes, herbs/ supplements and other lifestyle changes along side the acupuncture, to help you feel better, even quicker.
